Appealing visual example of this nice early 18th century folio sheet map depicting northern Africa . Beautifully hand colored, will look outstanding once framed. In addition to the large curious Englishmen on either side of the title, we see a Royal coat of Arms and 3 animals, 2 of which seem to be perhaps fanciful.

Map paper is lightly toned, margins are a bit spotted and chipped along the edges (as seen in photos). Centerfold split running about 1/4 way up from the bottom has been repaired with archival tape on the reverse. Minor overall paper flaws, few scattered very light spots as seen, but really, despite the centerfold as described, a very appealing visual example which will look spectacular once framed. Not perfect, but priced according to the Good+ to near VG condition.

Sheet measures c. 22 3/4" x 19 1/8"; image area measures c. 19 1/2" x 14 3/4".
