Wonderful folio sheet map of the English Channel. With a large decorative vignette cartouche which includes Neptune and his sea horses, Apollo, a sailing ship, and other allegorical figures.
In VG+ to near excellent clean condition, couple minor spots of no significance. Bottom edge trimmed narrow to just inside neat line, seemingly as issued (bottom edge is dyed red like all the other edges).
A decorative and appealing early 18th century folio map.
Sheet measures 23" x 20." Map area measures 22" x 19."
