A beautifully engraved mid-19th century folio sheet map with original outline hand color. Very precisely engraved, with a fine engraved quality superior to other maps of this era. Printed on heavy paper, a fine map which looks much nicer in person than a digital photo would indicate.
Also a scarce map, from a rare transitional atlas very seldom encountered.
In lovely clean fresh condition. Beautiful example.
Sheet measures 30" x 23." Map are measures 24" x 21."
