A fine and attractive mid-17th century folio sheet map of this German region.  We see the Danube River flowing prominently w/ several tributaries. Heavily detailed w/ a profusion of cities denoted by tiny red cathedrals including Bad Aibling, Regensburg , Augsburg and Nuremberg .  With original outline hand color and an attractive ornate title cartouche. Distance scale within ornate border at bottom right; coat of arms at top left.

In VG+ to near excellent clean condition w/ an overall very appealing visual effect. Very framable. An uncommon mid-17th century map.

Sheet measures c. 22 1/2" x 19 1/4". Image area measures c. 20" x 15".
