A charming early 18th century image, very appealing visually. At the top is a hanging wall map depicting a globe with sailing ships. Below is a very active city scene, showing warriors on horseback.
In excellent antiquarian condition with beautiful full hand color. A lovely, superior example of one of the more charming Mallet images. On a c. 6 1/4" W x 7 7/8" H sheet, image area c. 3 7/8" W x 5 5/8" H.
