A very appealing mid-18th century map showing the coast of eastern Africa. Depicts South Africa up to Zanguebar. Off the right side we see the island of Madagascar. Note the large decorative title cartouche.
Beautifully hand colored. In VG+ to near fine mostly clean condition as seen, original fold lines as issued.
Sheet measures c. 9 7/8" W x 10 1/4" H.
