Wonderful large 17th-century folio sheet copper engraved map. Original full hand color.
In VG+ to near fine clean condition, some very minor light offsetting as typical due to the green used, but still, overall a very pleasing visual example.
A scarce map with a fine decorative quality, including a large title cartouche, sailing ships, coats of arms, etc. North is oriented to the right.
Sheet measures 24" x 20 1/2." Image area measures 21 1/2" x 17."
