Wonderful large 17th-century folio sheet copper engraved map. Original full hand color.
In VG+ to near fine clean condition, some minor light offsetting as typical due to the green used, but still, overall a very pleasing visual example.
A scarce map with a fine decorative quality, including a large title cartouche, rhumb lines, sailing ships, coats of arms with cherubs and animals, etc.
Sheet measures 24" x 21." Image area measures 19" x 15."
