A fine and attractive mid-17th century folio sheet copper engraved map of this region of northern Europe. Includes numerous German cities including Oldenburg, Delmenhorst, Bremen, Lever and many smaller towns and villages of this region. With original outline hand color and an attractive large title cartouche. Includes a compass rose and ornate distance scale which orients north to the right. Text in Latin. In VG+ condition, some minor light age wear, but overall appealing and very framable. Sheet measures c. 22 1/2" x 19 1/4". Image area measures c. 20" x 15". Quite an uncommon 17th century map.
