A fine and attractive mid-17th century folio sheet map of this European region.  Includes cities such as Hamburg, Bremen, Lunenburg, Wolfenbuttel, Brunswig and the Albis  (Elbe) river. With original outline hand color and an attractive large title cartouche (which cites Johanne Mellingero as its original author) and ornate distance scale. In VG+ condition, some minor light age wear, but overall appealing and very framable.

Sheet measures c. 22 1/2" x 19 1/4". Image area measures c. 20" x 15".
