A fine and attractive mid-17th century folio sheet map of this European region. Includes cities such as Halle and Wittenberg with the Albis river. With original outline hand color and an attractive large title cartouche and ornate coat of arms. In VG+ condition, w/ a tear (c. 7") from the bottom margin up to Halle; this has been repaired on the reverese w/ archival tape and is, therefore, not distracting. Overall appealing and very framable.
Sheet measures c. 22 1/2" x 19 1/4". Image area measures c. 20" x 15".
