Lithographed 19th century map, with mountainous regions printed in 3-D relief. The embossed surface of the map actually sticks out about 1/8", which is a bit difficult to photograph so you can see it. We've photographed the map from the reverse as well so you can see how the relief looks/ works.
In VG+ mostly quite clean condition, some minor light edge wear and maybe a few small tiny spots. Sheet measures 13" x 10 1/4." An uncommon map from a scarce atlas indeed.
