A fine and attractive mid-17th century folio sheet copper engraved map of this region of Europe. Includes numerous cities including Magdeburg, Stendel and Wittenberg. With original outline hand color and an attractive large title cartouche; ornate distance scale at top left. Text in Latin. In VG+ condition, some minor light age wear, but overall appealing.
Sheet measures c. 22 1/2" x 19 1/4." Image area measures c. 20" x 15."
