Ohio - 1850
Note: To view available close-ups, click on the area you wish to see. A mid to late 19th century engraved map w/ original full color. We see counties colored in contrast; major roadways and railroads as they existed in the mid-19th century. Cross-section "Profile of the Ohio and Erie Canal" across the bottom. Appealing decorative border. In VG to VG+ condition w/ uniform age-toning and some edgewear, paper is perhaps a bit on the brittle side; we note a short tear to the right side extends just into the colored pink border and has been repaired on the reverse w/ archival tape. Still very appealing visually w/ a nice patina and will look great once framed. Sheet measures 13 1/2" x 17." Will need to be shipped flat.
