A mid to late 19th century folio double sheet map of both Arizona and New Mexico w/ original full color. Of note are the Indian Reservations, topography, towns and mines as they existed in the 1870's. Appealing intricate scrollwork border.
In near fine condition, trivial spotting (one spot) in Moran County, short tear to left side margin w/ slight creasing to that corner. A very uncommon 1870's issue of this map. Dated 1873 on the map but comes from an atlas dated 1875; thus we believe this map shows variation from other issues.
Double sheet measures c. 27 3/4" x 17 1/2."
