Attractive and detailed 19th-century lithographed nautical chart with expert full hand color.
In VG+ to near excellent clean condition, perhaps minor paper flaws (of no significance) which are inevitable on all these charts. Map has been expertly lined onto a thin rice paper, cleaned and beautifully hand colored for a superior visual appearance. As these Government charts were issued on a thin rice paper which rips easily, this example is far superior, sturdy, readily framed and able to withstand framing without splitting.
