A striking 16th century wood-cut birds-eye view of a battle which occurred in Hungary in 1566 (this date with a lengthy description is below the map).
Most charming, with an army lined up in formation, including many on horseback, cannons, etc. With nice full hand color which greatly enhances the visual appeal of the view. The map displays a distinctly medieval feel about it.
In VG+ condition. With expert appealing full hand color.
Sheet measures 8 1/4" x 13 1/4." Image measures 6" x 5."
