Charming 16th-century woodcut map. Map focuses on the Rhine river. Shows Cologne, ( Koln ) and many other family/castle names, including Kirnberg, Nus, Schoneck, Bopart. Oriented with North at the bottom. The Duchy of Luxembourg appears near upper right. This view is wonderful for research or purely aesthetic pleasure.
In VG + condition with very nice hand color. Appears to be a scarce version of this German region map.
Sheet measures 8 1/4" x 12." Map area measures 6" x 8."
