A fine mid-18th century engraved view of the fabled ruins of Ancient Greece, composed in a typical period poetic style. Several turban and robed figures are centrally placed. With attractive and expert full hand color.
In all, a lovely mid-18th century steel engraved view relating to Attica
. In VG+ condition with a slight tear in the bottom margin and light dampstaining to the bottom right corner but certainly nothing which interferes with this wonderful view.
Sheet measures 10 3/4" W x 8" H, image measures 7 1/2" W x 4 7/8" H.
