Attractive 16th-century woodcut map with very appealing full hand color.
In VG to VG+ condition. Top and bottom margins restored with old paper to facilitate framing, the bottom neat lines redrawn in a neat skillful manner. Once framed, this bottom margin will blend in so well as to be almost impossible to see. With virtually no "show-through", making this a very pleasing example
Sheet measures 15 1/2" x 13." Engraved area measures 14" x 12."
Note the sailing ships and sea monsters.
