A charming and well engraved pre-Civil War map of the state with nice hand color. In near excellent clean condition, uncommon thus.
We have noticed in these early 19th century miniature Boynton state maps that there are very often numerous different "states" to them, although on a quick superficial glance they appear to be identical. There are many more variations to be found and we suspect there are at least 4, possibly more states of this map.
Sheet measures c. 6 7/8" H x 5 1/4". Image area measures c. 5 3/4" x 4 3/8".
