Malden, MA - 1894
Note: To view available close-ups, click on the area you wish to see. A detailed and very very scarce late 19th century folding map of Malden, Massachusetts showing street names, topography and public buildings. Along Malden Canal the Talbot Bros. Lumber Warf is labeled plus countless other buildings and streets. Delicately lithographed with great finesse, showing topography as well. In Very Good+ antiquarian condition, nice and clean. A thin area along one fold line has a few tiny holes, but this virtually unnoticeable since it is backed with matching paper and is almost not worth mentioning. Perfect for framing. Map measures c. 16 1/4" W x 11" H (image area measures c. 15 1/2" W x 10" H). One of those maps that if you wanted to find another example of could be all but impossible since it was issued by a single local firm in 1894.
