Dutch title across top reads "Beschryvinghe van Waldeck.". A nice example with very pleasing full hand color, numerous important towns are highlighted with tiny cathedral symbols. Title sits within a large strapwork cartouche as does the distance scale. Sheet measures c. 8 3/4" W x 6 1/2 " H, image area c. 7 1/2" W x 5 1/2 " H.
In VG+ condition, quite clean and appealing. A desirable map of this German region from this scarce and now very expensive atlas.
