A scarce mid 19th-century cerographic map with original hand color.
Sheet measures c. 13 " W x 16 1/2" H, image area c. 12" W x 13 1/2 " H.
In VG+ to near excellent clean condition, traces of dampstaining in the margins, of no consequence and invisible once the map is matted and framed. Overall, a clean and bright example.
Quite interesting with an overprint above the title listing Railroad and Proposed R.R. lines in the state, which are also overprinted on the state.
