Published Amsterdam, 1630 for Gerard Mercator's "Atlas Minor." A nice example with very pleasing full hand color, numerous important towns are highlighted with tiny cathedral symbols. Title sits within a strapwork cartouche.
Sheet measures 9" x 6 1/2", engraved area measures 7 1/2" x 5 5/8 ." In VG+ to near excellent condition.
A desirable early 17th century map of this Swiss Alpine region which includes Lucern, Thun, etc.
