A charming and very scarce pair of engraved images relating to the Pacific. Issued in Vienna in 1811 by Gottlieb Wilhelm, these quaint images are largely derivative of earlier views. Seen here with an almost folk-art quality about them. With full, original hand color.
Each sheet measures 7" x 4"; images measure 5 1/2" x 3 1/4."
In VG condition, some very light surface soiling or dusting which does not detract form their appeal. SCARCE.
