A lovely clean example of this attractive Tallis map. With charming vignette views around the map, all set within an ornate border. Original outline hand color as issued. Very appealing, one of the last truly decorative maps from the mid-19th century.
Sheet measures 13 1/2" H x 10 3/4" W. Image measures 13 1/2" H x 9 1/2" W.
In near excellent condition, original outline hand color and centerfold as issued. Centerfold crease could readily be flattened with 5 minutes patience.
