A wonderful mid-19th century steel engraved view of New York City and harbor. A gem of an image, with numerous ships in the harbor, and the 19th-century city skyline in the background. Set within a frame-like border. A scarce and lovely view, very much in the style of Bartlett. In near fine clean condition. Beautifully hand colored.
Sheet measures 10 3/4 " W x 7 " H, image measures 7 " W x 6 " H. Certainly uncommon so nicely colored and clean.
Very nice view relating to NYC and uncommon so attractively hand colored.
