A beautiful, scarce and fascinating early 18th century map of what is now southern Belgium. With countless place names, mountains, rivers, and lakes. A charming vignette cartouche with a coat of arms held by three strolling figures at lower right. A charming vignette cartouche of a garden in which three figures recline on a low garden wall with a centaur looking on, at upper left.
In VG+ to excellent antiquarian condition. Original fold lines as issued. With beautiful hand color. Sheet measures c . 7 1/4"h. x 8 1/2" w. Image measures c. 6" h. x 7 1/4" w.
Quite uncommon, a lovely example of this scarce imprint.
