A finely rendered and charming early 18th century map of France. With many place names, cathedrals, mountains and rivers. A exquisite drapery and pennant cartouche with a crowned male bust at lower left, containing the year 1684.
In VG+ to excellent antiquarian condition. Original fold line as issued. With beautiful hand color. Sheet measures c .6"h. x 7" w. Image measures c. 5 1/2" h. x 6" w.
Quite uncommon, a lovely example of this scarce imprint.
