"Various Vegetable Productions of the Asiatic Islands," issued c.1770, in London, by Middleton. A beautiful mid 18th century view of an exotic river flowing through an Asiatic Island. This view has a number of people harvesting vegetables in the jungle, as well as congregating on the river's edge. Many vegetables are clearly displayed and named in a small legend that runs the length of the view under the title. With wonderful hand color. In VG+ to near excellent antiquarian condition. Sheet measures c.14 3/4 " W x 9 1/4 " H, image area measures c.14 1/2 " W x 7 3/8 " H.
