A beautiful early 19th century map of parts of Chili, Peru, and Bolivia. An interesting feature about this map is that this map was drawn up while the countries in this area where still under Spanish rule, therefore showing the countries borders to be much different from those they have today. The map shows a high level of detail in naming major cities, rivers, mountains, and lakes.
With attractive original full hand color. In VG+ to near excellent antiquarian condition. Sheet measures c.12 1/4 " W x 15 1/2 " H, image area measures c.10 3/4 " W x 14 3/4 " H.
