"Saxoniae superioris Lusatiae Misniae," issued c. 1700, Amsterdam, by van der Keere based upon the 17th century Mercator map issued in one of his oblong quarto atlases. A wonderful engraved map with beautiful hand color of Saxony, a region in Germany. Very detailed, with small trees symbolizing forests and cathedrals for important cities. Also shows major rivers and mountain ranges. With hundreds of place names. Features a nice strapwork cartouche at upper left. In VG+ to near excellent antiquarian condition, with some a spot in the right margin and a light stain to upper margin (neither detracting). With beautiful, full hand color.
