"Das Konigreich Dennemarck," issued 1719, Frankfort, by Mallet. A wonderful, engraved map of Denmark. Features half a dozen charming little sailing ships and a pictorial cartouche with a leopard (!) and crown. Shows the kingdom of Denmark from Holstein to the Jutland peninsula; also shows part of Norway, Sweden, and Germany.
In VG+ antiquarian condition with some soiling to margins (not detracting and well outside the engraved image area). With lovely hand color. Sheet measures c. 5 3/4" W x 8" H, image area measures c.4" W x 5 5/8" H.
