The city, originally a Roman Colony founded in 14 B.C. by Augustus, became the central trade point between North and South Europe during the 15th and 16th Centuries. The key locates 8 points of interest, such as churches, markets, the town hall, etc. The cartouche depicts a pair of horses pulling a cart before a brick building. In VG+ condition overall, very attractive and visually pleasing. Full hand colored engraving. A stunning plan precisely engraved. Sheet measures c. 8 3/4" H x 11 3/8 " W.
