An impressively detailed, 19th-century, engraved map, with insets of southern Florida, southern Texas, and, surprisingly, Niagara Falls. The makers of the Stieler Atlases occasionally placed insets in unusual places, as an efficient use of space.
In VG+ condition overall, very attractive and visually pleasing. Full color outline, with original fold line, as issued.
Sheet measures c. 15" H x 18 3/4 " W. Image measures c. 13" H x 16" W.
