A charming and very scarce miniature map by Rigobert Bonne, before he succeeded J.N. Bellin at the Hydrographic Office. Beautifully engraved by Jean Lattre, who also worked for Vaugondy and Janvier. Seldom encountered, this map is from the rare "Atlas Maritime", published 1762.
In VG+ condition; very gentle aging which enhances the appearance. With original outline hand color.
On a c. 5 1/2" W x 4 3/4" H sheet; image area c. 5 1/8" W x 4" H.
