This appealing late 18th-century map depicts South America with a fair degree of topographical detail.  Shows rivers, national boundaries, and many place names.  Antarctica is absent, except for a note referring to a mysterious, undefined coastal port discovered by Francis Drake. With a large cartouche.

In VG+ to near excellent condition.  Original fold lines, as issued.  With full hand color.

On a c.  9 1/2" W x 8 1/2" H sheet; image area c. 8 1/2" W x 7" H.
