A very appealing pair of stereoscope views of New York City produced in c.1925 by the Keystone View Company. This company produced very high quality stereo views in the early part of the 20th century which were very popular in their day, although many of the views from the 1920's are actually somewhat less common than many people believe. Indeed, since the national fad of stereography began to fade in popularity in the 1920's, many of these later views must have had relatively limited distribution and were produced for a relatively short period.
These particular views are in lovely clean condition and are titled as follows: "Wall Street," and "Many Forms of Transportation Required in Large Centers of Population."
The tones are nicely varied and the resolution quite sharp.
In near excellent, clean antiquarian condition with great visual appeal. Each measures c. 7" x 3 1/2". Extensive descriptive text relating to the views on the reverse.
