This clean and attractive stereo-view was handmade by a talented amateur. Elegant handwriting on the reverse reads, in part, "Though it was still early the Boulevards presented a most bustling and active appearance", which describes the photo perfectly. Note the horse-drawn carriages, and numerous, legible advertisements in the background, one of which is for a touring Wild West show, quite possibly that of Buffalo Bill himself.
Obviously uncommon, likely a rare, even unique scene. Very appealing.
In VG+ to near excellent antiquarian condition. Measures 7 1/8" W x 3 1/2" H.
