Stereo-View Photographs - Early Aviation
Note: to see a close-up of this picture, click on the area you wish to see. A pair of fascinating stereoscope views which show how early planes were used in the First World War. One show a biplane stationed on the West Front, in France; the other shows an American plane shooting down a German reconnaissance balloon. The resolution is quite sharp and the tones nicely varied. Text on the reverse gives pertinent historical information. A nice example of early aviation combined with stereography. In near excellent, clean antiquarian condition with great visual appeal. Measures 7" x 3 1/2". Sold as a group only. Ordering: Please use the Buy Me button below, or phone the shop to order this map.
