Stereo-View Photographs of Constantinople
Note: to see 2 close-ups of this picture, click on the area you wish to see. A pair of very appealing stereoscope views of the city now known as Istanbul. One is an aerial view in which the famous mosque Hagia Sofia is discernible. The other is a rather active street-scene in which men sporting fez hats can be seen haggling with merchants. The resolution is quite sharp and the tones nicely varied. Text on the reverse gives pertinent historical information. In near excellent, clean antiquarian condition with great visual appeal. Measures 7" x 3 1/2". Ordering: Please use the Buy Me button below, or phone the shop to order this map.
