This card served as an advertisement for the historic Rockingham House, located on State St, Portsmouth, NH. The engraving is quite detailed; it shows a horse-drawn carriage approaching the magnificent hotel. The card appears to have been glued into a book at one point, since the text on the reverse is obscured by some torn paper. The front of the card, however, is in very good, clean condition.
