Stereo-View Photograph of Historic Air-Rail Trip.
Note: to see a close-up of this picture, click on the area you wish to see. A very appealing stereoscope view of a milestone in the history of transportation. This particular view is in lovely clean condition, and shows the passengers boarding the historic flight in Columbus, Ohio. A combined air-rail itinerary made it possible to travel from New York to Los Angeles in under 48 hours, something not previously available to the general public. The tones are rich and the resolution is very sharp. The full title as well as the number 32372 are printed at the lower right. In near excellent, clean antiquarian condition with great visual appeal. Measures 7" x 3 1/2". Text on the back. Ordering: Please use the Buy Me button below, or phone the shop to order this map.
