A very appealing stereoscope view of the city which has been a hub of international trade for centuries. This particular view is in lovely clean condition and shows the varied architecture of the city. The tones are rich and the resolution is very sharp. The full title as well as the number V24111 T are printed at the lower right. Text on the reverse provides a detailed account of the city and its history.
In near excellent, clean antiquarian condition with great visual appeal. Measures 7" x 3 1/2". Text on the back.
