A lovely and uncommon early-19th century engraved map with full original hand color. With a profusion of interior detail, much augmented from the earlier printing. A key at bottom left describes the various Colonial possessions then in existence, such as British, Spanish and Danish. In Near Fine mostly clean condition. From the very rare second edition of Wilkinson's atlas. On a c. 11 " W x 13 5/8 " H sheet (image size is c. 8 3/4 " W x 11 " H).
