This fine heavily illustrated newspaper focuses on the most important issues of the time period. Depicted on the cover is Major-General Philip H. Sheridan. Other illustrations include: a full page depiction of the cavalry charge at Winchester, Virginia, a half page illustration of Whiehall Street, Atlanta, a half page illustration of Whitehall Street looking Eastward, a full page map of the Virginia Campaign, showing the theatre of General Grant's combinations, an illustration of the great cattle raid at Harrison's landing, September 16, 1864 taking up half of a double page layout, an illustration of Midnight before Petersburg of the same size, portraits of the late General Rusell and the late Colonel Grower. 

Text is about issues concerning the illustrations and other prominent issues of the time period. An interesting and historical look into America's past. Issue is 16pp.
