Other illustrations include: a full page of the picture-gallery of the fair, a full page of the department in the fair, a nice double page illustration of the Grand Hall of the Fair building, Fourteenth Street, a half page of the New Jersey department of the Metropolitan Fair, a half page illustration of the grand opening of the Metropolitan Fair, portraits of Brigadier-General Andrew Jackson Smith and the late Hon. Owen Lovejoy. Text is about issues concerning the illustrations and other prominent issues of the time period. An interesting and historical look into America's past.
