Issue is c. 11" W x 16" H sheet. New York: Harpers, 1864. In VG, mostly clean and fresh condition, this weekly issue of Harpers is from Saturday, March 19, 1864. Volume 4, No. 377. 

This fine heavily illustrated newspaper focuses on the most important issues of the time period. Depicted on the cover is Brigadier-General George A. Custer. Other illustrations include: a full page portrait of Brigadier-General Judson Kilpatrick, a full page map of the Rebellion, as it was in 1861 and as it is in 1864, a striking double page facsimile of a photograph of the moon, taken by Dr. Henry Draper's telescope, a half page depiction of Major-General Logan's headqurters, a half page illustration of soildiers dragging artilery through the mud, a half page illustration of a portion of Logan's command crossing Lookout Creek for east Tennessee, a half page depiction of the Twentieth United States colored troops receiving their colors on Union Square. 

Text is about issues concerning the illustrations and other prominent issues of the time period. An interesting and historical look into America's past. Issue is 16pp.
