Note: To see 3 available close-ups of this picture, click on the area you wish to see. A wonderfully detailed and very scarce 19th century lithographed Maine coastal chart which has been expertly hand colored. Dozens of small islands, buoys, points, ledges, etc. are all identified. Endless sounding depths. A scarce nautical map which was printed on a heavier paper than most of the Gov't surveys and is thus ready to frame. In clean, fine antiquarian cond. with tiny pin holes in the corners as issued which were used by the lithographic workshop to hold the sheet in place for the printing process used. In VG+ to near excellent antiquarian condition on a c. 22 3/4" H x 15 3/4" W sheet, image area c. 21 " H x 13 " W. Ordering: Please use the Buy Me button below, or phone the shop to order this map.
